In the previous post Note: Remote Desktop (Unfinished), my plan was wifi plug + Windows Remote Desktop + V2Ray reverse proxy.
But thinking carefully: V2Ray must be running after boot/login, while the process of finding/logging into the host already needs the V2Ray service. That seems conflicting (not sure if it’s actually like this; I haven’t tried).
If so, then the NAT traversal part has to be handled by the router.
The plan becomes router NAT traversal + Wake-on-LAN + Windows Remote Desktop.
I’m still in the preparation stage and haven’t started doing it.
